My Story

With nearly two decades of experience as a Registered Massage Therapist, Chris Reese sees his work not just as a profession, but as a calling. He believes in the profound impact of wellness, advocating that self-care is essential for maintaining a quality of life.

Chris embarked on his journey in 2004 at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy, where he received comprehensive training from experts in various fields on Anatomy & Physiology, Neurology, Kinesiology, Orthopedics, and Pathologies. With 4400 hours of training and education from the Registered Massage Therapist program and the Spa Practitioner program, Chris is equipped to address a wide range of conditions, from everyday aches to complex issues. 

Since 2009, he has dedicated himself wholeheartedly to his craft. Working in various locations and clinics across BC. In 2011, he joined a chiropractic clinic in Williams Lake, BC, where he practiced for nine years before taking a bold step amidst the pandemic in 2020 to establish his own business, Hands on Wellness. Over the next three years, Hands on Wellness became a haven for therapy and wellness for clients of all ages and conditions. In 2023, Chris and his family relocated to Lloydminster, where they hope to establish roots and eventually have a small hobby farm. 

His approach integrates various techniques such as Swedish massage, Shiatsu, and Hot Stone therapy, complemented by fascial techniques and joint manipulations, all tailored to meet the individual needs and preferences of each patient.

What truly sets Chris apart is his genuine passion for helping others through personalized care. He is committed to empowering his clients on their wellness journey, offering rehabilitative exercises, self-care stretches, and preventative & maintenance strategies. From acute injuries to chronic conditions, Chris has achieved remarkable success in treating a variety of issues, including postural imbalances, nerve impingements, and musculoskeletal injuries requiring treatment of scar tissue. His expertise extends to assisting patients with chronic illnesses such as Fibromyalgia, Parkinson's, Multiple Sclerosis, AIDS, Cancer, and treating  augmentations and/or mastectomy. Through his advanced knowledge of the human body and skilled manual techniques, Chris has made significant strides in improving the lives of many individuals.

Chris's reputation as a skilled therapist has led him to work with a diverse clientele, from elite athletes to individuals. Humbly Chris has had the privilege of working with competitive top-tier athletes from the Vancouver White Caps, the Women's Olympic Softball team, he was volunteering for 6 years during the Ironman events & half-Ironman triathlon events, as well as treating several X-Games athletes from motocross and snowboarding. Whether he's treating competitive CrossFit athletes, Olympic teams, or weekend warriors, Chris's goal remains the same: to enhance performance, alleviate pain, and promote overall well-being.


With a relentless pursuit of excellence, Chris is continuously expanding his repertoire. His future endeavors include integrating cupping therapy, energy work, and Thai Yoga into his practice, further expanding his ability to serve his community of Lloydminster.


His mantra, "It is not just a Massage, It’s Improving a way of Life," encapsulates his belief in the transformative power of therapy and wellness. With a down-to-earth approach and an unwavering commitment to making a difference, Chris looks forward to enriching lives one massage at a time.
